Tor Browser for Android is the only official mobile browser compatible with Tor Project, the developers of the world’s strongest tool for privacy and online freedom. For this version, you also need to install Orbot, a proxy application that will connect the Tor Browser for Android with the Tor network. For the next stable version of Tor Browser for Android, our goal is that Orbot is not necessary to connect to Tor. Our security slider is now in “Security Settings”, but due to a small problem, it only appears after restarting the application. We plan to fix it for the next release.
