4.19 The update moves “Hide cable usage” for USB and Bluetooth mode on the side of the phone so that you can use it to connect a Mac or tablets. Android 2.2 or lower phones should not be updated.
PdaNet + now contains two PdaNet (USB or Bluetooth) and FoxFi (WiFi mode may not work on your phone – see details below). Now you can share your cell phone’s Internet connection with a PC or tablet, or via USB, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Hotspot on some phone models.
USB mode works on all Android phones. It allows you to connect to a PC running Windows or Mac.
Since the locks of each phone update the system, the WiFi mode is enabled in the short list of compatible devices.
